Omega-3 Forte capsules contain concentrated omega-3 fish oil (in the form of ethyl esters). The concentration of EPA and DHA has been increased through distillation, resulting in capsules with a proportionally higher content of these fatty acids than other LYSI products.

The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. DHA is also one of the most important structural components of the cells of the brain, eyes and central nervous system and contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision.

As the body does not produce sufficient amounts of EPA and DHA, these fatty acids need to be obtained through the diet. They are mainly found in seafood, making fish oil a good way to obtain these essential fatty acids.

Omega-3 Forte does not contain vitamins A or D and can therefore be safely taken with cod liver oil supplements containing those vitamins.
