Omega-3 Forte + D & E capsules contain concentrated omega-3 fish oil (in the form of ethyl esters), vitamin D and E. The concentration of EPA and DHA has been increased through distillation, resulting in capsules with a proportionally higher content of these fatty acids than other LYSI products.

The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. DHA is also one of the most important structural components of the cells of the brain, eyes and central nervous system and contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision.

As the body does not produce sufficient amounts of EPA and DHA, these fatty acids need to be obtained through the diet. They are mainly found in seafood, making fish oil a good way to obtain these essential fatty acids.Vitamin D

Vitamin D plays a key role in the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus in the body, thereby supporting the normal growth and maintenance of bones, teeth and muscles. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

In northern regions, where sunlight is limited for a large part of the year, it is particularly important to ensure an adequate intake of vitamin D. In addition, it can be difficult to obtain sufficient amounts from food alone, and vitamin D deficiency is common worldwide.
